Community mitigation activities are actions that people and communities can take to slow the spread of infectious diseases. Community mitigation is especially important before a vaccine or drug becomes widely available.
Mitigation strategies include
Personal protective measures (e.g., handwashing, cough etiquette, and face coverings) that persons can use at home or while in community settings
Social distancing (e.g., maintaining physical distance between persons in community settings and staying at home)
Environmental surface cleaning at home and in community settings, such as schools or workplaces.
Individuals, communities, schools, business and health care organizations all have a role to play in community mitigation, and policies, like limits on large gatherings, restrictions on businesses, and school closures, are often needed in order to fully implement community mitigation strategies
Each community is unique and because some of these measures can be very disruptive to daily life, appropriate mitigation strategies will vary based on the level of community transmission, characteristics of the community and their populations, and the local capacity to implement strategies.
Consideration is needed for all aspects of a community that might be impacted, including populations most vulnerable to severe illness and those that may be more impacted socially or economically, and select appropriate actions. When selecting mitigation strategies, states and communities should be guided by the local characteristics of disease transmission, demographics, and public health and healthcare system capacity. Mitigation strategies should be able to be scaled up or down depending on the evolving local situation.

Teamwork is often defined by the combined actions completed by a group of people working together. Teamwork is important in every successful organization. For Citiguard Security Guard Company, teamwork is the foundation to maintaining efficient security services. Our entire security team always shows a strong display of teamwork. The security guards, the supervisors, the office managers, and the clients must all work as a unified team in order to maximize the effectiveness of the Citiguard security services.
Our teamwork starts from the beginning of the initial consultation between Citiguard’s Security Consultant and the client. The first thing we do is establishing strong sense of teamwork with our client. Constant communication between our security guards, supervisors, and management staff with our client is the foundation to successful security operations.
At some job sites, there will be multiple Citiguard security guards working together to protect our client’s assets, people, and property. Many times, the security guards will not be adjacent to one another. With security guards spread out, it is important that they have an efficient way of communicating with one another, such as a radio or walkie-talkie. Usually, but depending on the job site, security guards who have been separated for long periods of time will convene and provide each other with updates. Officer safety checks are an important aspect of teamwork in Citiguard Security Guard Company Los Angeles.
Citiguard’s field supervisors also communicate with the on-duty security guards often, and vice versa. Questions and concerns will arise during a shift, from both the supervisors and the security guards.
Additionally, field supervisors conduct random site visits in order to ensure that the security guard is not only present, but is also alert and ready. Finally, an onsite security supervisor available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year so that our client and security guards on duty always have a means to communicate and maintain effective teamwork.
Our clients and Citiguard security guard company are a team. Some of our clients will actively desire all information as soon as possible and other clients will want a more passive notification unless an emergency. It is important that these boundaries are discussed and maintained in order to maintain a positive sense of teamwork throughout the business relationship. Additionally, oursecurity guards on site will know our client and the business which they are representing as a team. Finally, when Citiguard security guards are assigned to a new client, it is advised that the two parties have a casual conversation, establish expectations, and review protocol.
